Welcome to West Norfolk Beds. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of our website www.westnorfolkbeds.co.uk and to all purchases made through it. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

“We”, “us” and “our” refer to West Norfolk Beds. “You” means the customer.

2. Placing an Order

2.1 Order Confirmation

When you place an order, you will receive an Order Confirmation email. This acknowledges your order but does not mean it has been accepted.

2.2 Order Acceptance

Your order is accepted when we send a Dispatch Confirmation email or when we notify you that your goods are ready for delivery or collection.

2.3 Availability

All orders are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you place your order, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund.

2.4 Reasons We May Refuse an Order

  • the product or price is incorrect
  • we cannot verify payment
  • delivery is not possible to your postcode
  • you breach these Terms

3. Pricing, Payments & Promotions

3.1 VAT

All prices include VAT at the current UK rate unless stated otherwise.

3.2 Delivery Costs

Delivery costs will be displayed at checkout and vary depending on item type, delivery tier and your location.

3.3 Payment

Payment is taken at the time of order. We accept the payment methods shown on our website.

3.4 Promotions and Discount Codes

  • cannot be combined with other offers unless specified
  • apply only during the stated promotional period
  • may be withdrawn at any time

3.5 Pricing Errors

If we discover a pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch. If we cannot reach you, we may cancel the order and issue a refund.

4. Delivery

4.1 Delivery Options

We offer several delivery options, including priority tiers and optional assembly services. These are displayed at checkout.

4.2 Delivery Times

Delivery times shown on the website are estimates. Delays may occur due to courier availability, stock levels or external factors.

4.3 Delivery Address

Delivery is to the address provided at checkout. You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to accept delivery.

4.4 Missed Deliveries

Missed deliveries or incorrect addresses may incur additional charges.

4.5 Responsibility for Goods

Once delivered, the goods become your responsibility.

4.6 Reporting Issues

You must report any damage, missing parts or defects within 48 hours of delivery. We may request photographs to assist with a resolution.

5. Assembly & Disassembly Services

5.1 Service Availability

Where available, assembly or disassembly services can be purchased at checkout. These are carried out by third-party contractors.

5.2 Access Requirements

You must ensure adequate access and clear space for assembly.

5.3 Fees

Assembly fees are non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed unless the cancellation is due to our error.

6. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, imagery and specifications are accurate. However:

  • colours may vary between screens
  • slight measurement variations may occur
  • natural wood products may differ in grain and texture

If we update or improve a product, components may vary slightly from images shown.

7. Made-to-Order & Customised Items

7.1 Custom Production

Certain products, including some wooden beds and upholstery options, may be made-to-order or personalised.

7.2 Cancellation Rights

Made-to-order items are exempt from standard cancellation rights unless faulty.

7.3 Lead Times

Production lead times vary and are stated on the product page where possible.

8. Cancellations & Returns

8.1 Cancelling Before Dispatch

You may cancel your order before it has been dispatched. Once dispatched, return charges may apply.

8.2 14-Day Return Policy

You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery. Items must be:

  • unused
  • unassembled
  • in original packaging

You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

8.3 Items Excluded from Returns

For hygiene and customisation reasons, the following cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • mattresses once removed from packaging
  • made-to-order or customised beds
  • items assembled by you and not in resale condition

8.4 Refunds

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Deductions may apply for:

  • missing parts
  • damage caused by you
  • signs of use

8.5 Faulty Products

If your item is faulty, we will offer a repair, replacement or refund in line with UK consumer law. Faults must be reported within 30 days.

9. Guarantees & Liability

  • Beds and mattresses may include manufacturer warranties.
  • Products are intended for residential use only.
  • We are not liable for indirect losses, delays outside our control, or damage caused by misuse.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

All content on this website belongs to West Norfolk Beds and is protected by copyright law.

You may not copy or reproduce any content without written permission.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

We process your personal data according to our Privacy Policy, which explains:

  • how data is collected

  • your data rights under GDPR

By placing an order, you consent to your data being used for order fulfilment and delivery communications.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
